Our Athletics Team (Boys) won the championships of Boys B Grade Overall, Boys C Grade Overall and Boys Overall in this year’s Interschool Athletics Championships (Division 3, Area 1), and will be promoted to Division 2 next year.
Our athletes went through tough training before the competitions were held, but they endured and persevered, and, with their desire to excel and bring glory to the school, they shone on the tracks during the competitions.
Pang Tsz Fung (4C), Ho Kai Pong (4D) and Li Ka Shun (4D) led the B Grade Team and won the championship with a high score 152, while Cheng Koon Ching (1E), Lo Chuen Tak (2A), Wong Hon Man (2D) and Chan Cheung Hang (2E) led the C Grade Team and won by 90 points, bringing home a clear and convincing victory. It is also worth noting that we won the Boys B Grade 4X100m Relay and the Boys C Grade 4X400m Relay, which showed the physical strength and talents of the athletes as well as the good cooperation and unity among them.
Our excellent performance this year does not only rest on the athletes’ sweats, but it also hinges on the support of the Principal, teachers and parents. The athletes gained not only the trophies, but also valuable experience. We would also like to thank alumnus Yu Wing Hong for helping us train our athletes.
