The BHJS Mentorship Programme provides an opportunity for students to shine beyond the classroom and learn from their alumni from different industries. It is a structured partnership between a BHJS graduate (Mentor) and a student (Mentee). The Mentors are our BHJS Alumni who share the value of mentoring and are willing to serve on a voluntary basis. The Mentees are our senior form students who share the value of mentoring and are willing to make self-initiated efforts to widen their perspectives and enhance their personal growth.
‘Work Experience Program’, which lasts for three weeks, provides 3-5 days of hands-on working experiences for groups of mentees. Mentees are encouraged to take part in a hands-on practice in various professional fields. Students gain fruitful experience from mentors working in various professions such as doctors, pharmacists, barristers, businessmen, financial investors, public relations, etc.
Not only does the Program help the mentees explore and construct careers paths, but it also bridges our students in senior forms with our notable alumni in long-term mentorship.
