The 2025 Gospel Camp, themed “Step into Faith,” was held from 7 to 9 July, bringing together over 50 students from Forms 1 to 6 for a meaningful spiritual retreat filled with worship, reflection, and community building.

The camp began with ice-breaking games and the singing of the camp song, setting an uplifting tone. The Night Walk encouraged students to face physical challenges together, symbolising the courage required on their faith journey.

On the second day, morning devotions and worship were led by the CU Music Team, followed by engaging activities such as the “Roman Cannon” game and team-building checkpoints. The evening concluded with a peaceful Taizé Night Service, providing space for quiet reflection on faith.

The final day centered on group sharing, thanksgiving, and a closing ceremony. Through prayer and award presentations, students celebrated their personal growth and were encouraged to embrace their faith journeys at their own pace.

Many students shared that the camp helped them reconsider their values, deepen friendships, and experience God’s presence. One student said, “I used to think Christianity was just about rules, but now I see it’s about a relationship with God.” Another added, “I’m not decided yet, but something has started in my heart.” According to feedback forms, three students made the decision to follow Christ, while nine expressed interest in learning more.

As the camp concluded, students departed not only with new friendships but also with sparks of faith and fresh questions to carry forward. Though each path is unique, through the love and truth experienced, many have taken important steps in their spiritual journeys. May these seeds continue to grow in God’s perfect timing.
