The Sheng Kung Hui Education Sunday Worship for the school year 2026–2027 was held on 13 September 2026 at 11:00 am at the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Holy Trinity Cathedral. The annual service brought together representatives from Anglican schools, including principals, teachers, parents and students, to worship together and reflect on the shared mission of Christian education.

During the service, members of the school community joined in hymns, prayers and thanksgiving, giving thanks for God’s guidance and seeking His wisdom and strength for the new school year. The occasion also provided a meaningful opportunity for Anglican schools to reaffirm their commitment to nurturing students through education grounded in Christian faith and values.

The sermon was delivered by Professor Allan Yuen Hoi-kau, a distinguished educator with extensive experience in education and theological education. Professor Yuen has served as President of Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education and as Associate Dean of the Faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong, and is closely connected with Anglican education. He currently serves as Supervisor of Heep Yunn School and Heep Yunn Primary School.

Through the worship and the message shared, participants were encouraged to reflect on the calling of Christian education and the responsibility of educators, parents and students to serve with faith, wisdom and love. May God continue to guide our school community throughout the year, enabling us to grow together and to bear witness to His love through learning, service and daily life.
