To celebrate the 65th Anniversary of BHJS, our school has embarked on a meaningful ceramic art project, “Growing in Bloom”, bringing together students, parents, teachers and alumni to create 65 unique ceramic flowers.
Led by our ceramic artist and BHJS alumnus Leo Wong, the project represents creativity, growth and the enduring connection between generations of our school community. Through the making of ceramic flowers, participants are contributing their individual creativity to one collective anniversary artwork.
The first workshop was successfully held on 27 September, with participants completing 20 beautiful ceramic flowers. Each handmade bloom carries its own character and story, while together they will gradually form a vibrant commemorative garden celebrating BHJS’s 65-year journey.
And our garden is still growing!
Two more workshop sessions are coming, and we warmly invite students, parents, teachers and alumni to take part. No matter whether you have experience in ceramics or are trying it for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to create, connect and contribute personally to our school’s milestone celebration.
The completed collection of 65 ceramic flowers will be presented as part of the 65th Anniversary celebrations, including the Gala Dinner on 21 November and Open Day on 4–5 December 2026.
Come and create a bloom of your own. Together, let us make BHJS’s 65th Anniversary blossom!
