To help Form 4 students become familiar with the latest developments in infrastructure and entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area, the Careers and Life Planning Committee organized a career study tour in Zhongshan and Zhuhai from 22nd to 23rd January 2026.
During this two-day trip, students were invited to visit the Zhongshan Entrepreneurship Incubation Base, which encourages Hong Kong teenagers to establish their entrepreneurial ventures in the Greater Bay Area by benefiting from the incubation and guidance services provided by the Centre. Students interested in starting a business in the Mainland gained a deeper understanding of the available support.
In addition to visiting the Incubation Base, students toured Chubang Soy Company and By-Health Transparent Factory to explore the product lines and overall operations of different companies. This experience helped them become more familiar with corporate culture in the Mainland and understand the opportunities for setting up a business there.
The students not only visited companies but also explored Zhongshan Museum to learn about the city's past, from the origins of its name to its agricultural and commercial development from the Qing Dynasty to the modern era. This helped them develop a greater sense of national identity and belonging to the Mainland.
With detailed explanations and insights from the tour guides, students provided positive feedback after this meaningful tour, which gave them a clearer perspective on career development opportunities in the Mainland!
