We were honored to host the Career Planning Talk, organized by the Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association (HKPAA) on 5th May 2026 for F4 students. This meaningful event aimed to equip our students with a clearer vision of their professional futures by providing an inside look at various competitive industries.
Bridging the Gap Between School and Society
The impact of such an exchange goes far beyond simple career advice. By hearing first-hand accounts of both the triumphs and the daily challenges within these competitive industries, our students gained a realistic and nuanced understanding of the modern workplace that no textbook could provide. This immersive experience allowed them to see the practical application of their current studies, helping them to connect their academic choices with their long-term aspirations. Furthermore, the personal stories shared by the guest speakers served as a powerful catalyst for self-reflection, encouraging students to identify their own strengths and interests early on. This clarity is essential as they begin to navigate the complexities of university applications and elective selections, transforming what can be an overwhelming process into a proactive journey of self-discovery and strategic planning.
