Inner Mongolia National Education Tour
2025-07-11

From June 27 to July 2, 2025, a delegation of 47 teachers and students participated in a six-day cultural and ecological exchange program in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This immersive journey covered three major cities - Baotou, Ordos, and Hohhot - offering participants unparalleled insights into both cultural preservation and environmental conservation.

The program featured visits to significant ecological sites including the Saihan Tara Ecological Park and the Engebei Desert Demonstration Area, where students learned about desertification control and sustainable development. At the Genghis Khan Mausoleum, they delved into the rich history of the Mongol Empire. The Resonant Sand Bay experience provided hands-on understanding of fragile desert ecosystems and the importance of their preservation.

Cultural immersion activities formed the highlight of the exchange. Students visited local herder families, participating in traditional practices like milk tea brewing and Mongolian calligraphy. The bonfire night under the starry sky, featuring authentic Mongolian music and dance, created unforgettable memories and genuine cultural connections.

The program successfully combined ecological education with cultural exchange and team building. students not only gained academic knowledge but also developed practical skills in cross-cultural communication and environmental stewardship. This transformative experience has undoubtedly planted seeds for future environmental leaders and cultural ambassadors.
