Our school’s Career and Life Planning Team recently partnered with the HKGCC Business-School Partnership Programme to organize two invaluable corporate visits to CW CPA. Held on 17 December 2025, for Form 5 and Form 6 BAFS students, and on 21 May 2026, for Form 4 BAFS students, these visits provided our students with an eye-opening window into the professional business world.
The visits offered students unique firsthand insights into the day-to-day auditing and consulting services CW CPA provides, with a specific focus on how they serve cross-border clients across China and South America.
During the corporate visits, students gained a significantly clearer understanding of the distinct professional roles within the sector through direct frontline exposure, discovering how company secretary functions operate alongside day-to-day auditing practices. In addition to understanding these industry roles, the students received invaluable guidance from industry professionals who mapped out the exact academic and professional pathways required to successfully obtain a CPA certificate, clarifying both the milestones and the dedication needed to excel. Furthermore, this experiential learning was greatly enriched by face-to-face sharing sessions with practicing auditors from the firm. By listening to these insiders discuss their daily routines, professional challenges, and personal career journeys, students were able to form a highly realistic view of corporate accounting, which ultimately helped them evaluate their own suitability for the profession.
By bridging textbook BAFS knowledge with authentic corporate operations, these visits to CW CPA have significantly enhanced our students' career planning toolkit, inspiring them to set clearer goals for their future academic and professional endeavors.
