Our school's Dance Team delivered an outstanding performance at the 54th Hong Kong Open Dance Contest. In the Trio category held on 6 May, our members captured the Silver Award; in the two group dance competitions held on 24 May, both of our teams went on to win Gold Awards.
As an annual highlight of Hong Kong's dance scene, the Contest has attracted over 150,000 dance enthusiasts throughout the years, including many dance troupes formed by professionals. It was therefore especially meaningful that our Dance Team stood out from the field and became the only secondary school performing unit in the Chinese Dance (Open Category) at the 54th Hong Kong Open Dance Contest: The Winners' Performance cum Prize Presentation on 5 August.
On that day, Principal Ms. Law and Vice Principal Ms. Chan came in person to support the students. This encouragement not only inspired the team members to keep exploring their talents, but also meant a great deal to our Dance Team instructor Ms. Lam and teacher-in-charge Ms. Chen, both alumnae of our school. The recognition and support from their alma mater have motivated teachers and students alike to devote themselves fully to preparing for the performances of our school's 65th Anniversary celebrations.
We are grateful for the school's full support during the 2025/26 academic year and for the dedication of teachers from various departments. We look forward to seeing the Dance Team continue to deliver remarkable performances at major competitions and on the stage of our anniversary celebrations in the 2026/27 academic year.
